Using Make (formerly Integromat), I built an automation that takes every Instagram post I publish and automatically creates a WordPress blog post with a title, an expanded 1000-word article, and the Instagram image—all generated with AI. This automation saves me time, keeps my blog fresh, and helps boost my SEO without any extra effort.
How the Automation Works
1. Instagram Post is Published
Whenever I post a new photo, reel, or carousel on my Hive Photo Booths Instagram account, the automation triggers.
2. Make Fetches the Instagram Post
The automation pulls the image, caption, hashtags, and other details.
3. AI Expands the Caption into a Full Blog Post
The automation sends my Instagram caption to ChatGPT, generating a detailed, 1000-word blog post based on the original content. It expands on key points, adds relevant industry insights, and ensures the content remains engaging for my audience.
4. A Title is Auto-Generated
ChatGPT also creates an SEO-friendly blog post title, making sure it’s optimized for search engines and enticing readers.
5. WordPress Blog Post is Created
Finally, the automation uploads everything to my WordPress blog, including:
• The AI-generated article
• The Instagram image
• The title
• The original hashtags (which help with SEO)
• A link back to the original Instagram post
And just like that, my blog is updated without me having to write a single word manually!
